I know the game will be a let down. I know the menus will suck. I know you will get more power out of a turbo 4 than a massive V8. I know there will be every iteration of Miatas, Skylines, and Fairlady/Z cars. I know you will have to drive like an ass to win races. I know parts will cost the same no matter what car they are for. Thank god I can still do an ECU tune on a 60s muscle car. But part of me still wants the game in hopes that I'm wrong and that they've learned that racing games are more than super realistic screenshots and replays.

Yeah, I bought a PS3 for GT5...then waited forever...then barely played it.

I think I'll move to Xbox 1 next year.

I bought a PS3 AND a Logitech G27 specifically for GT5. The fancy screenshots got me. Start to play it, menus are an inconsistent mess, and there's only 200 cars worth looking at. Then they make you pay for cars that should have been there in place of the copy+paste cars carried over from previous games. It was a very addicting game though, and online play is fun.

Worst trailer ever. Worst racing franchise since GT3. Worst everything basically. Yes I am a Forza fanboi (but I respect all games that are done well) and the GT series sucks. Saddens me that this is a flagship title as well. Before Forza there was only GT and it rocked! At least Forza can deliver, albeit a McLaren P1 so far, lol.
